Twice each year, the Alamogordo Public Library Foundation hosts a huge used book sale. The sale is currently housed at the old IGA building across the street from the public library. Each spring and fall thousands of people converge on the book sale to stock up on used books, CD's, DVD's and other items donated to the library throughout the year.
